Utilize techniques from Part 1
to cut out and sew
a basic lined drawstring bag.
Kit includes designer fabric.

of basic sewing.

A simple shawl that uses
a repetition of various stitch patterns
to achieve a more complex effect.
Students must be able to cast on, knit, purl,
pick up stitches, increase, decrease and yarn over.
Supplies needed: 48: circular needles in size 10,
two stitch markers and one "J" crochet hook.

free form crocheting.
Knitting and crocheting can be mixed easily
for this technique,
but we'll focus on crochet
because it is so much easier
to "mess around with."
Learn some simple shapes,
how to attach them
and view amazing items you could make
with just yarn and some imagination.
Bring a variety of hook sizes.
Yarn is provided.
